Mazi (pronounced like Fozi)and her sister Tula were recently brought from the Middle East. Their mother and other litter mates were found deceased. These dogs commonly roam free in the dessert. They are from ancient stock and the stronger survive. It is classic survival of the fittest. These girls were born into that life of isolation and zero interaction with or interference by humans.
Their foster has worked to socialize them with gentle and consistent handling and introduction to other kind and submissive dogs. These are sight Hounds. That means that they will see something of interest and by sight run after it, often putting themselves in danger by traffic. They can reach speeds of 40 MPH and as such can get from point A to point B very fast but because they do not smell along the way, cannot find their way home.
This is a dog who needs a fenced yard and outlets for their energy on leash. They are sweet, submissive and very affectionate. They are available alone or together. However we will be very selective about where they go.
