Millie, now Luna, finds her humans

To look at these pictures does not do justice to the joy and overwhelming energy of love felt yesterday when Millie, now Luna, officially became family with Jake and Charity. From San Antonio, Texas, Luna arrived so thin her spine and ribs were visible, to today, into the loving, supporting home of her very own humans.

Affectionate and sweet Luna showed us resilience and trust. She is a sweet soul who will thrive as she comes into her own with the help of Jake and Charity. As Luna jumped for a last good bye with Dawna, it was almost as if she were saying, “Thanks for saving me. I’ll make you proud.” Happy life, beautiful girl.
