Maddie has been adopted.

Maddie came to us from a high kill shelter in San Antonio, Texas where she was owner-surrendered and as such at high risk. She was extremely fearful and reactive when she arrived and for some time after. With patience and time and slowly introducing new people, Maddie has blossomed into a joyful little girl. Maddie loves to go for walks and investigate the neighborhood. She also thoroughly enjoys car rides. She perches on the back seat and watches out the window, not missing a thing. Maddie might do best in a home as the only dog as she seems to be quite upset y other dogs. Perhaps that could change in time but it also might not and we are looking for a forever home.
