From dumpster to love

Sister’s Nibbles and Nugget had a tough start to life. Found in a plastic tag tossed in a San Antonio, TX dumpster, they cried and cried for help. Fortunately a good samartiaran heard their pleas and brought them to a local shelter.

Chihuahuas are a dime a dozen in Texas and their chances of adoption were very slim. So, to Vermont they traveled. They arrived ill, so frightened it would take days for them to stop shaking and relied on each other for comfort.

I have never been a ‘little dog person”until now. Nibbles and Nugget have given me an appreciation for tiny canines and a new prespective on small dog love. They are now happy, comical and have that famous Chee smile. The decision was made to adopt them together as they as so bonded.
