Dorothy has been adopted.

We have learned a lot about Dorothy following an adoption that was not successful. This is always a sad happening. However, it gives us information going forward to ensure that her next placement is her last.

Dorothy is great with other dogs out in the community. However, she does not want to live with any. Her home is her castle and she does not want to share it. She is generally good with people but seems to want one or two who are “hers” and as such would do best in a quieter home.

She does not do well with children. This is not uncommon. Sometimes dogs have been harmed by kids. Sometimes they have had no exposure to them and as such are afraid. Either way, this girl is not one to live in a situation where she is around children.
