Diezel and Syrus

Update: Diezel and Syrus have been adopted, together!

How gorgeous are these two new members of the VEBR family? This is Diezel and his brother Syrus. They are American Bulldogs weighing in at a hefty 100 pounds plus! Move over humans. Sadly their owners for their entire lives fell on very hard times and could no longer provide for them. Can you imagine losing your livelihood and then your home and then your beloved dogs?
This is when I so wish that we had the means to purchase a property where we could have proper kennels and lots of them. I would keep these boys until their owners were back on their feet and then hand them back.We don’t have that property. Anyone out there looking to invest in one please let us know. There is such a need.
Anyway back to these boys. One of our Pilots and Paws pilots alerted us that they were in a shelter. I contacted them today and with the gracious, caring and non arm twisting help of Candice, secured these boys. They must stay together. They are reported to be big teddy bears, sweet, social with everyone including cats. They just want to stay together and be safe and loved.
