Chloe has been adopted.

Meet little Chloe. She is 1.5 years old and as sweet as can be. About a week ago I received a message from the big shelter that I pull from in Texas asking if I was interested in taking her as she was scheduled to be euthanized.

I requested medical. It turns out that I had placed a hold on this girl a month earlier but was notified at the last minute that she had been adopted. Well last week she was returned by that family who reported that she was incontinent. We sent Chloe right to our SA vet and had a complete exam, blood work, urinalysis, fecal, the works. Everything came back as normal. Chloe has no paralysis or spine issues.

She is a perfectly young, healthy and active girl who sometimes dribbles urine and expresses stool when she coughs or barks. Our vet says that this has improved greatly since her arrival there. She is now on a high fiber diet and has a regular schedule of going out. She thinks that over time this will improve as it already has. However can not predict the cause. Chloe will remain in vet boarding until transport on 4/30 and will be available for adoption upon arrival.

This will be a work in progress, not a quick fix so someone with compassion and patience is a must.
