Chex and Tex = Wallace and Gromit
It’s not very often we have the opportunity to spend time with tiny little dogs. So when Chex and Tex arrived, we were like kids in a candy store. We learned to appreciate their silly, larger-than-life nature and have a new admiration for these portable, precious ones.
Found alone in San Antonio, Texas, they were surviving on their own depending upon one another. We knew we could not separate them, they would need to be adopted together. Finding one family for two baby Chihuahuas would not be easy, but we were determined. Today the plan came together.
Sharmila and her family have welcomed the newly named Wallace and Gromit into their Vermont home. They will not want for anything, including a big sister and grandmother close by. A real rags to riches story. With teary eyes, we said our goodbyes taking solace that these little tykes are safe, cherished and on their way to a wonderful life.
