Bonnie

Bonnie is a 4 year old Old English Bulldog that was picked up as a stray and taken to a high kill shelter in Texas. She has clearly had many litters of puppies.Vermont English Bulldog Rescue pulled her to prevent yet another needless death. We did not receive her medical until after the volunteer had picked her up yesterday. When I was finally able to open the attachment I was shocked to read that she had a Pyometra. For those who don’t know this is a serious uterine infection that if left untreated can cause death. She was spayed and we do not know if the Pyometra was leaking or intact. We do not know if her abdomen was flushed or not. Shelters release little information.
