Bogie

11.26.17 Update: Bogie has been adopted.

Bogie is an English Bulldog four years old, neutered and current on all vaccines. Bogie is heartworm negative and on preventative. VEBR rescued Bogie in 2015. We had little history about him other than what we saw here. Bogie was adopted into a home with children and that has not proven to be a good fit for him.

As is the case with many English bulldogs, Bogie seems confused and sometimes disoriented around the kids although he lives with them. He has bitten and it was unprovoked, although in his mind most likely not. I do not say that to excuse him or the biting, but rather to say that we do not understand his past or his triggers. It is safe to say that children are out of the question for him. Bogie has seemed to be social around other dogs and enjoys long walks. He would do well in an adult home that is somewhat predictable.
