Birthday wishes
Can you remember your favorite birthday gift? Was it a something, an experience or an activity? Tomorrow, April 14 we will celebrate Dawna’s birthday. Dawna founded this rescue in 1998 and has quietly been saving dogs from abusive, neglectful environments and dreaded euthanasia lists ever since. Privately funded for years, the rescue is now a 501(c) 3 where we are experts at begging, pleading and bartering for funds.
For Dawna’s 66th birthday, she’s not asking for a new something, a fancy experience or activity; she is asking for everyone who reads this post to give $1 to the rescue. One dollar, people.
We recently had a post about a beautiful, white young bulldog named Chloe. At last review, that post was close to 9,500 views. Let’s do the math: $1 x 9,500 = almost half of our rescue credit card debt.
One dollar. For all the good that this woman has done for a crazy world, we owe her dollar. Donate button on top of page. One dollar. One. Go and thanks.
