Bearded Collies Age: Adults
Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy
Health: Spayed, Neutered, Vaccinations CurrentBrisket and her brother Bandit were turned into a high kill shelter after the death of their owner. They were reported to be much loved and cared for pets. They are extremely bonded and as such will only adopted together. Brisket was evaluated by our vet in Texas due to hair loss and low energy. It was determined that she had hypothyroidism. She was put on twice a day medication and the levels checked twice prior to her being transported to Vermont. Her coat is growing back in and her energy level is up. We are told that he belly will diminish over time and that she can live a long and normal life now that she is diagnosed and on medication. They are both on a non grain/non poultry diet and the best vitamins. Bandit is in great health.These two are comical, sweet, amazingly friendly and simply a pleasure to have around. We are hoping for an equally amazing forever home for them.
