Athena needs a foster family!
Athena is a purebred Old English Bulldog, three years old.
Very social, good with other dogs, great with humans of all sizes. We pulled her and her brother Spartacus from a high kill shelter in Texas where they were surrendered by their owner. This gave them only 48 hours to be placed before being killed.
Spartacus was adopted by his foster in Texas. Sadly, Athena was found to be heartworm positive. She went though the treatment and is now microfilaria free. A final test will be done in five months. She will be on regular heartworm preventative monthly.
