And then there were two…

…And then there were two. A few months ago nine (yes, nine!) baby basset hounds arrived from Texas. They were tiny, sweet, adorable. We had so much fun caring for and playing with them. We kept them healthy and safe, they kept us in smiles and laughter.

Watching them grow into their own personalities was a true blessing. As they got older and stronger, Dawna set out to find perfect homes for each one of them. Today, that journey came to its finality with the two brindles, Mable and Alfie, being adopted together by Vanessa, Dave and Stephanie.

They are now on their way to their New Hampshire home. A bitter cold day on the outside. A heartwarming, tearful beginning on the inside. Congratulations to all.
